On behalf of our client, The Pond is looking for a proven, technical Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead the new website customer experience and generate targeted EDMs for the significant customer base. You'll also lead joint campaigns for the business’s partners.
As the in-house digital marketing lead, you will bring your solid corporate experience to the table, champion digital marketing best practice, report and analyse key metrics, and have knowledge and proficiency in CMS systems.
This busy and rewarding role needs someone with a strong digital marketing foundation, experience across marketing automation platforms (Marketo, ideally), and sound acquisition and retention marketing knowledge. But it is not just about the numbers, you'll also have a great digital design eye and the ability to present, communicate, lead conversations and see projects through from concept to completion.

The breakdown
We are looking for a digital marketer with:
- A minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience.
- Experience in leading the digital strategy to get results
- B2B and B2C digital marketing is essential, working in-house for larger corporates or government is desirable
- Hands-on CMS management and proven experience generating business insights from Google Analytics and other tools to drive website traffic.
- Demonstrable experience reducing user drop-offs and improving sales conversion.
Key responsibilities include:
Website
- Take a lead role in managing the transition of the website from one platform to another.
- Maintain the content of the website, including updates and maintenance (proficiency in core CMS).
- Applying brand guidelines and SEO best practices to improve user experience and organic rankings, testing and refining the website to drive conversion.
- Leverage digital channels to engage customers and drive traffic increase through the website.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, HotJar and Google Ads to provide insight and advice on digital strategy improvements.
- Manage user-experience reviews and web-build projects as required.
E-Marketing & Campaign-related Activity
- Managing relationships with the two digital agencies.
- Creating, executing and managing multi-channel digital campaigns across a variety of clients and products across the full buying cycle.
- Support the business with email marketing, data list management, and automation of email flows.
- Manage end-to-end campaigns, including drip campaigns, nurture funnels, retention marketing and gated content.
- Reporting, managing, and tracking all digital marketing budgets, reporting on campaign ROI, and sharing and explaining results with key stakeholders.
Relationships, Planning and Teamwork
- Guiding best practices for all things digital marketing & marketing automation
- Provide stakeholder management/advice/ thought leadership and digital expertise for their marketing campaigns, reporting on Google analytics etc.
- Planning, administration and internal team-related work.
