Demand Planner

Manufacturing & Operations

Responsible for forecasting demand in collaboration with sales team. Reports to Supply Chain Manager.

About the role

The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting demand from sales and supply chain information, optimizing inventory levels, and maintaining excellent DIFOT performance with customers and suppliers. The role is also responsible for monitoring raw materials' availability and costs involved in supply to ensure that production and delivery schedules are met.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with sales team to create accurate demand forecasts for all products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations based on inventory targets and lead times.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure that raw materials are available and delivered on time; And coordinate it with the related departments such as production and logistics.
  • Monitor and report on DIFOT performance to customers and suppliers, taking corrective action as needed to maintain high levels of service.
  • Use business central dynamics to maintain accurate data and provide reports on demand planning metrics and KPIs.

To succeed in this role you need:

  • Experience in demand planning, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and demand planning software. Business Central software experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
