  • Leading oversight of effective delivery of clinical services
  • Involvement in creation and review of care and service plans.
  • Signing off Support Worker competencies

This position is 40 hours a week. You’ll be based in beautiful new offices on the outskirts of Christchurch close to the airport. You’ll need presence in the residential homes during the day, but we are happy for you to work from home, around your family commitments too.

About you

  • A Registered Nurse with Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Passionate about advocacy, seeing vulnerable people living life to their fullest, and as independently as possible
  • Technologically savvy. Able to work on and offline and with various systems.
  • Good clinical assessment, judgment and decision making skills
  • Broad nursing background - Ideally from rehab, community, aged care disability, mental health or medical nursing. You’ll be familiar with choking risks, restraints, hoists, risk appraisals, falls etc…
  • Self motivated, proactive, able to work autonomously whilst maintaining strong connections with colleagues, providers, residents and families.

What's in it for you

  • A fantastic opportunity for you to advance your career in a nationwide organisation
  • 40 hours per week with work from home component
  • Hourly rate plus mileage (vehicle being ratified in current negotiations which will also bring reasonable personal use)
  • A great manager who respects and trusts your skills and experience
  • Excellent induction and collegial support
  • Flexible working hours in a high trust environment
  • The enjoyment of supporting people to make the most out of life
