About the Job  

As a Clinical Research (Study) Coordinator, you will effectively deliver clinical studies on time and within budget. This requires a project management approach and will see your work within a highly regulated environment and liaise with both participants and internal stakeholders, bringing all aspects of the study together. Including:

  • Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of clinical research studies
  • Recruiting, screening, and enrolling eligible study participants
  • Scheduling and conducting study visits, procedures, and follow-up assessments
  • Collecting, managing, maintaining and analysing research data
  • Liaising with study sponsors, principal investigators, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents
  • Monitoring and maintaining study supply inventory
  • Collaborating with study participants and providing education and support throughout the research process

You’ll work Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30. There is room for flexible working hours after the training and induction period, and you are more autonomous in your role.

About You

There is no one else in New Zealand providing Phase 1 Clinical Research so you’ll either join us having done something similar in Australia or you’ll have the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree - ideally Pharmacology or BioMedical Science (We are open to other health-related disciplines)
  • Accurate with a high level of attention to detail, well organised with proven project management skills and experience
  • Ability (and ideally experience) working in a fast-paced and demanding scientific environment - able to work to tight timeframes and deadlines
  • You’ll be the perfect balance between science and relationships. You have high IQ and EQ - an excellent communicator, influential with the ability to engage with others easily
  • Experience from within an environment requiring strict compliance with protocols, regulations, and ethical guidelines
