About the role
- Supporting the development of self-led wellness and care teams within the Auckland community.
- Mentoring and supporting clinical teams to manage clinical risk as it emerges and deliver positive outcomes.
- In consultation with the Operations Manager, ensure the development of high-performing clinical and care teams through appropriate recruitment, orientation, communication and coaching, training and development, and annual performance appraisals.
- In consultation with the operations manager, effectively manage rosters to achieve effective and efficient use of staff within budgeted staffing levels to best meet the needs of clients in the community.
The ideal candidate must have
- Current registered nurse
- Experience with Spinal Injury and/or Brain injury
- Full NZNO registration
- Passion for community nursing.
- Able to adapt to the ever-changing clinical setting and able to problem-solve in a calm manner
- Communicates in a respectful and professional manner.
- Have experience with leading and developing teams
- Able to organize assessments and care planning time frames with community support workers.
