The Role
As a Claims Consultant, you’ll be the key liaison between clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, fair, and professional management of insurance claims. You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the claims process.
- Manage a portfolio of claims across various lines (e.g., property, liability, motor, etc.)
- Lodge and track claims progress with insurers, loss adjusters, and third parties
- Communicate updates and outcomes clearly to clients and brokers
- Provide claims advice and support to clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify potential issues or delays and proactively drive resolution
- Maintain accurate claims documentation and CRM records
About You
- Previous experience in insurance claims handling (broker, insurer, or underwriting agency)
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and claims processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Client-focused mindset with a calm, empathetic approach
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Level 4 or working towards desirable
