We are an exciting opening for an inspiring leader to make a difference as a Qualified Centre Manager at a well-established childcare centre in Papakura. You will be leading and managing your team to success, to ensure children are happy and engaged.
We are looking for a driven individual ideally with 3+ years Centre Management experience, who has a detailed understanding of budgeting, marketing and a passion for building a positive team culture. You will be the driving force behind the centre!
Carefully crafted to inspire children, build their confidence and take their first steps towards a lifelong love of learning, this Papakura centre welcomes children aged 3 months to 5 years. This lovely centre is purposefully built and fully resourced with a team of highly skilled teachers.
Key qualities that you will possess:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively lead a team to provide the best learning outcomes for the centres tamariki
- Demonstrated ownership and initiative in previous positions
- Proven centre management experience, with competency in financial management and budgeting
- Marketing experience to assist with the ongoing growth of the centre
- Passion for working with young children and whanau
Role requirements
- BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
- Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
- A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
