Business Development Manager (Motors)

Motors is one of our core business units and we're delighted to be able to call ourselves New Zealand's most visited website for buying and selling vehicles. We have an awesome opportunity for a Business Development Manager to come onboard and work closely with external customers to drive new business opportunities, nurturing relationships through consultative sales and delivering tailored solutions that ensure they are getting the best results from our products.

Trade Me is one of New Zealand's most popular websites with over four million members and more than 650,000 Kiwis visiting our site every day.

Here's what you can expect from this role:

* Build relationships with Dealerships across New Zealand, getting to know their business and becoming a trusted authority on how they can grow their business directly through our digital products.

* Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to Achieve new Business Acquisition targets & associated New Business Revenue targets.

* Ensure we continue to be innovative in our offering to customers; be a visionary and advocate for those customers and our Motors business.

* Work closely with Product teams to provide insights from customers that will be influential in ensuring we're working on the right things* Play a key role in defining go-to-market strategies that will ensure ongoing success of any new initiatives.

What you will bring to our team:

* 2+ years' experience in Business Development Management.

* An in-depth understanding of the full sales cycle from cold calls, to negotiation of contracts, to after-sales care.

* Experience in a digital media environment would be ideal.

* You're a confident communicator and someone who is able to articulate a vision that is compelling to customers.

* Energy and presence with a drive for results is essential to the success of this role.
