About this role:
This organisation is looking for a Building Services Coordinator to join the team as support on one of their projects and ensure all building service installations are completed as per documented and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Review tender documents and provide advice to the pre-construction team
- Manage the delivery of service design elements, ensuring they align with the design brief and project requirements.
- Support the delivery team by managing RFIs, leading service meetings, conducting site inspections
- Act as a liaison between the project team and consultants
- Review shop drawings to identify constructability challenges
- Develop and oversee commissioning plans
- Manage BIM requirements
- Ensure health and safety compliance
Your background
- Previous experience as a Building Services Coordinator or in a similar role
- Previous experience in installation of building services across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire
- Experience in medium to large scale commercial construction
- Proficient with technical documentation and document control
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical, Hydraulic, or Mechanical Engineering
