Our clients are a full-service professional insurance brokerage based in central Christchurch. They pride themselves on providing a personalised service to all their clients across both Commercial & Domestic insurance products.

As a result of their continued growth and success they are looking to add to the team and have a fantastic role for a highly motivated Broker Support to work alongside the Director and assist him in managing his varied book of business!

To be successful in this role you will be / have:

• An experienced Broker support or alternatively a strong administrator looking to embark on a career in the Insurance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organised, keen, motivated and willing to turn our hand to a variety of tasks
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proven ability to build rapport with people and provide a high level of customer service

The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Brokers by assisting them to achieve retention and growth of their client portfolio
• Assisting with client renewals ensuring they are processed in a timely manner
• Processing all associated documentation including; amendments, cancellations, finance agreements, invoices and statements as necessary
• Maintaining great relationships with Insurers, suppliers, Clients & Brokers
• Resolving client queries on their insurance
• Liaising with insurers on insurance matters
• Always anticipating and being one step ahead of the Broker
• Proactively handling all aspects of the role ensuring the best possible client service
• Diary management, arranging meetings and ensuring the office runs smoothly!
