About this role:
This organisation is looking for a Branch Logistics Manager to provide strategic leadership for its fleet team to improve performance, productivity, and efficiencies in vehicle movement, as well as ensuring timely repairs, compliance renewals, smooth process flow, minimal departmental rework, and reduced customer wait times.
Role responsibilities:
- Coordinate vehicle logistics to optimize positioning, repairs, compliance, and minimize customer wait times.
- Implement standards and procedures for efficiency.
- Develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Understand branch operations and their impact.
- Build and manage a high-performing team.
- Implement effective rostering solutions.
- Drive improvements and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to health and safety procedures and report incidents.
Required experience:
- Supervisory experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation
- Class 1 full driver's licence
- Experience leading large teams
- Ability to meet scheduling, safety, and efficiency standards
- Project management and team leadership experience
- Proven record of exceeding logistical targets
- Experience working under high-pressure conditions
