Billing Specialist

We're tackling some system and process improvements that will automate the repetitive and give us more time to do the cool stuff we enjoy, such as connecting more with our customers and giving top notch service! You'll be responsible for looking after a portfolio of customers, covering invoicing, statements, collections, and supporting pricing and packaging changes through sharing your billing expertise internally.

Here's what you can expect from this role:

- Complete Month-end billing for your portfolio of customers within deadlines

- Direct debits will be correctly administered, with proactive efforts made to transition customers towards direct debit or credit card payment options, where applicable.

- Debtor days will be monitored and you'll actively look for opportunities to improve

- You'll negotiate directly with customers on the collection of overdue debt, using tools such as payment plans to generate movement of aged balances.

- Supporting pricing and packaging changes through sharing your billing expertise internally

- Contribute to improvements in our processes and systems to improve efficiency, insight and general governance and control.

- Supporting the broader Finance team with the monthly financial close

What you will bring to our team:

- 2+ years experience of accounts receivable, credit control or billing experience in a medium-large corporate environment

- Ability to pick up new systems and processes with ease - if you have used Netsuite or a similar ERP before that would be an added bonus.

- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of people and stakeholders.

- Organised and at ease with juggling a variety of tasks.

- Awesome attention to detail and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.

- A team player and doesn't hesitate to pitch in to cover others in the Finance team as needed.

- Experience using Salesforce Ticketing would be an advantage but not essential
