Associate Manager Validation

Our client is getting ready for the next stage of their business where they fulfil large export orders of their unique product. Their award winning product is aiding patients around the world to recover from surgery more quickly. Reporting to the Technical Manager, your role is integral in ensuring a comprehensive plan is in place to validate existing and upcoming production equipment, software's, utilities and facilities. You will be appreciated for your strong leadership skills and ability to provide technical support not only to your team, but to the wider business! Due to an internal movement, and growing demands, our client needs an aspiring leader with the right validation experience!

‍What will you be doing?‍

• Developing team members by providing technical support and training.
• Leading qualification and validation activities for equipment, software, utilities and facilities ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and to applicable standards
• Write, review, approve validation protocols and process documentations to support the implementation of new equipment, systems and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure projects are delivered on-time and in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Drive efficiency and cost-reduction improvements to existing systems and procedures whilst supporting corrective actions.

What skills and experience do you bring?

• You will have a tertiary qualification in Science or related.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a validation leadership or similar role in a medical device, pharmaceutical, infant formula or similar industry.
• You will come with a demonstrated history and understanding of validating production equipment and as as bonus with software, utilities and/or facilities.
• Ability to be proactive, flexible, multitask and manage your time effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
