The Role
As an Associate Data Analyst, you’ll manage and process diverse datasets – from construction material usage and homeowner surveys to energy monitoring and building consent data. You’ll ensure data integrity, prepare analysis-ready datasets, and support researchers in drawing out trends, patterns and insights.Your work will support scientists, economists, behavioural scientists, and data experts to deliver evidence-based outcomes for the sector. There’s also room to grow your analytical and writing skills, particularly in R, SQL, Python or visualisation tools like Power BI.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in data, science, engineering, building science or commerce
- Hands-on experience managing datasets is preferred
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, (plus familiarity with R, SQL or Python is a bonus)
- Excellent organisation, collaboration and communication skills
- A curious mind and motivation to grow your technical expertise
