Agile Practices Lead

Here's a bit about what you can expect from this role:

* Champion agile ways of working and lead practice improvement and alignment using system thinking, agile and lean values, principles and practices holistically across their squads.

* Develop, deliver and measure the success of key agile initiatives to identify and remove constraints, bottlenecks and inefficiencies and build and strengthen agile capability

* Coach Product Owners, rostered Squad Masters and teams to understand the value of agile rituals and practices and boost the vitality of their product engineering teams

* Coach strong role accountability and ability for teams to resolve role clarity amongst themselves

* Coach teams and leaders to adopt a continuous improvement mindset,  championing the use of appropriate metrics to base continuous improvement activities  e.g. flow time, work in progress, work distribution, throughput and flow efficiency

* Help teams understand the value of whole team ownership of product delivery, coordination and metrics to build team self-reliance and autonomy

* Help provide transparency of progress, risks and impediments to stakeholders including supporting and evolving their Visibility of Work playbook

* Support teams with optimising their use of Jira, helping with customisation, workflows, templates, automation, setup and dashboards to support their ways of working

* As required, facilitate workshops, training, strategy meetings and conversations

What you will bring to the team:

* 5+ years experience in Agile roles in increasing seniority and at least 2+ years Agile coaching experience across multiple teams in various Agile practices (eg. Scrum, Kanban)

* Experience working with the tools and practices that support great product ownership

* Advanced knowledge of Jira and reporting plug-ins (e.g. Easy BI) to visualise and manage the flow of work and associated key metrics

* Proficiency in using collaboration tools to communicate and facilitate effective discussions (eg. Miro, LucidChart)

* Excellent facilitation skills

* A strong leader who can influence people across multiple leadership levels to get buy-in, form strong relationships and get the best outcome

* An outstanding communicator - able to explain ideas simply and clearly, listen carefully to others, and proactively improve team communication

* Proven track record of successfully leading complex organisational and cultural change

* Experience working with software product engineering teams
