About our Client

My first love in education is to work with children to develop their curiosity and confidence. Children are at the heart of everything I do and my passion is to create environments, curriculum and systems that reflect that. I want the people who work with me, children and adults alike, to feel seen, safe, supported and empowered to do their best work. Alongside my teaching and leadership roles, I have also managed academic operations and led the curriculum design team. I am a systems minded builder. My systems are noted for their clarity, scalability, ease of implementation and most importantly, attention to detail. From planning schedules and streamlining communication, to solving problems before they arise, I have a system for that! Whether I’m designing tasks, mentoring staff, engaging with families, or coordinating events, my goal is always to serve with integrity, build trust in every relationship and keep children at the centre of everything I do.

Achievements

  • Connection: When a child enters my classroom my immediate goal is to connect with them. Connection is the key to building a successful foundation for real learning. Everything else is built on this cornerstone.
  • Confidence: A child that feels confident is one who will be actively involved in their own learning. I make it my mission to ensure that children leave my classroom at the end of the year more confident than when they arrived at the beginning of the year.
  • Project-Based Learning: I could talk about Project Based Learning all day long! I love how it invites the child into the learning process on so many levels. With guiding questions that focus on developing curiosity, children go on a journey of discovery. Project based learning is my favorite way to make sure that children are staying engaged in the learning process.
  • Learner Investments: When we put the child in the driver’s seat and give them ownership of their learning, beautiful things can happen in the classroom. I am a firm believer in setting targets with learners, showing them what they need to achieve and then letting them (with guidance and support) find their own path towards the goal.
