  • Manage and handle claims to finality within designated settlement authority
  • Ensure that loss reserves are set and maintained in accordance with Income Insurance guideline
  • Assessing motor claims that are potentially be litigated to court and negotiate with paralegals and/or solicitors in regard to the quantum and liability of their client’s claim without compromising Income’s guidelines

Auto & General Insurance

  • Assess claims for both motor and non-motor cases
  • Enter claims payments, reserves, and new claims in computer system, inputting concise yet sufficient file documentation
  • Resolve complex, large loss, severe exposure claims, using high service-oriented file handling
  • Examine claims investigated by insurance adjusters, further investigating questionable claims to determine whether to authorize payments and/or approve claim

Claims Executive

  • Handling non motor cases (Travel, Personal Accident, and Homeclaims)
  • As a claims handler, I am involved in investigating potential fraudulent claims and undertaking a range of loss-adjusting activity
  • To ensure proper and fair settlement to the claimant and the company
  • Handles administrative duties from registration of claim, assessment, and settlement up to the payment processing
  • Assisting policyholders on their First Notification of Loss via phone or email
  • Handling complicated claims under corporate travel claim for CEO or VIPs under corporate travel policy
  • Examine claims within specified time line given by the company
  • Representing the company for any disputes at a dispute resolution centres

Claims Executive

  • Settle claims for travel and car insurance
  • Liaising with the claimant and advising them on any issues that arise
  • Help the insurer to investigate the claim to ensure genuine
  • Ensuring a fair settlement and good customer service for the client
  • Provide training for new claims handlers on claims handling, product knowledge, and system navigation
