Purchasing/Procurement Manager

My role at this organisation was to lead the procurement function for all materials, equipment and services required, but mostly to ensure that these are procured in accordance with specified business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with operational plans, ensuring smooth execution of supply chain activities. Main activities centred on effectively communicating the operational status of different continuous improvement projects, from the preparation of financial data for management meetings, supply risk management and global availability of goods through a complete procurement approach.

Demand Planning/Inventory Optimisation

• Managed and governed all promotional allocations across the organisation's stores, ensuring stock availability for all promotional activities in store as well as stock analysis, replenishment recommendations and forecast planning to maximise sales profit opportunity for internal and external stakeholders.

• Responsible for evaluating and documenting the company's key supply chain processes as well as pricing strategies scenarios to improve margin control with short-term objectives.

Supply Chain Executive

• Responsible for full management of the supply chain for modern market products (120+ sku´s involved) from its procurement, manufacture, and industrial decision making for efficient execution in key company accounts + 2 people under my charge.
• Planning the supply chain for the feasibility of new initiatives, including the production planning process, specialized distribution, and total product management in conjunction with the S&OP team.
