  • Windows Environment: Knowledge of Windows domains, how they interact at the user/workstation/server levels including Windows 7/8/10 and Microsoft Server 2016,2012,2008 and Exchange Server
  • Technical Support: Respond to IT Help Desk requests and monitor system alerts promptly including escalation of open or common occurring issues to senior engineers as per company policies and procedures
  • Hardware and Software Installation: New workstation setups including firmware and Windows updates, re-imaging and upgrading old workstations to the latest version of Operating System, and installing software/application as per each department’s requirements
  • IT Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Assisting users in person, over the phone, and via email with hardware/software/cell phone/desk phone-related concerns and resolving concerns including Microsoft Office suite of programs, in-house built applications, and department-specific software/application
  • Active Directory & Outlook Exchange: Manage users in Active Directory including adding new users, putting them in correct OUs assigning appropriate permissions and membership groups, disabling/deleting end-users after the end of employment, end-user password resets, and setting up/editing end-user mailboxes using the Microsoft Exchange Admin console
  • Networking: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnets, switches and patch panels, different classes of ethernet cables, including the use of Command Line Interface (CLI) to ping IP addresses and test network connectivity
