February 2020:

Administration Professional

Our new team member will have a broad range of administrative tasks with a focus on providing a strong level of support for our Licensed Immigration Advisers and our Visa Case Managers.

The role includes 

  • providing efficient support for our visa team
  • the running of our front office
  • collating and processing of data and documents
  • liaising with clients by email and telephone. 

This is a pro-active and hands-on role that will require excellent communication and solid administrative skills. 


We are seeking someone with

  • strong computer skills (Mac) - data processing is a key component of this role
  • outstanding attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • great time management skills
  • excellent telephone manners 
  • the capacity for patience and perseverance
  • an excellent understanding of cultural differences and the ability to relate well to our international clientele
  • the ability to be a self-starter and also work as part of a team
  • the ability to work under pressure
  • high ethical standards and integrity.

We will need you for 30 to 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, but for the right candidate, there is scope for some flexibility in terms of your working hours.

Sales and Customer Services Coordinator.

In this pro-active role, you will work closely with our Marketing and Business Development Manager to coordinate our Wellington-based sales department and sell our high-end services to overseas clients. 

 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Replying to inquiries 
  • Explaining and promoting our services in a professional manner
  • Managing email correspondence as well as following up leads with a focus on closing sales 
  • Organising meetings with potential clients
  • Eventually conducting initial sales consultations 
  • Drafting formal proposals and contracts 
  • Maintaining our database to a high standard
  • Meticulous data entry and record-keeping
  • Liaising with our visa and job search professionals and our head office in Nelson.

Do you have what it takes? 

  • A strong sales drive, as well as excellent persuasion and trust-building skills, are obvious key requirements for this role.

As our team is growing, we are now looking for a Licensed Immigration Adviser who can be a star at helping our clients to obtain the necessary visas for New Zealand!

Our new team member must hold a Full Immigration Adviser Licence with the IAA.

This is a pro-active and hands-on role to provide ongoing support and advice for our clients throughout their entire immigration process.

You will be working with a friendly and very capable Visa Support Team and in close cooperation with our Job Search Professionals.  

As you will know, the journey of migrating to New Zealand is challenging and can be daunting for our clients at times, as many hurdles have to be taken along the way. 

To provide a great level of support for our clients, the ideal candidate will need to have 

  • A full Immigration Adviser Licence and a solid understanding of New Zealand’s immigration regulations

For this newly developed role, we are looking for somebody who can be a

Job Search Coach, Network Builder and Connector.

Our new team member will provide ongoing support and advice for our clients throughout their entire job search process from start to finish, empowering them to secure a job in New Zealand. 

This is a pro-active and hands-on role that will require excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of the New Zealand job market, as well as the job application process.

Careers Adviser 

We are looking for a competent Careers Adviser to join our team at NZIC in Nelson.

Purpose of this role:  To take the support component of our Job Search Service for Skilled Migrants to a higher level.

 

Key responsibilities:  To coach and support our clients throughout their entire journey of searching for a job in New Zealand:

  • Establishing good working relationships with clients and developing efficient job search strategies
  • Working with clients on identifying job vacancies that match their overseas skills
  • Following up job applications by telephone or email and providing constructive feedback to clients
  • Preparation of application material, CVs, cover letters etc.
  • Liaising with employers and recruiters
  • Coordinating the  job search process with the visa application process by cooperating with our Licensed Immigration Advisers
  • Providing guidance and encouragement throughout the job search process.

Key attributes: 

  • Experienced in careers coaching and job application support
  • Excellent knowledge of the New Zealand employment market
