The job involves:
- Minimum 3 years hands on MIG Welding experience within NZ
- Production MIG welding (95% MIG & 5% TIG)
- Light Gauge Mild Steel from 1.2mm – 10mm
- Cutting steel & other workshop duties as required
- Interpreting engineering drawings
Requirements for the job:
- Large assembly fabrication experience advantageous
- Competent with a variety of power tools & machinery
- Trade Qualified or equivalent experience
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good Numeracy, verbal and written English skills
- Strong work ethic, taking pride in your work & self-motivated
- Medically and physically fit with a full clean NZ Driver’s license
- Currently living in and have the right to work in NZ (incl. NZ Work Visa)
Plus: Medical Aid, Allowances & Overtime (1½ after 40 hours)
