- This job is based in Newtown, in the largest private hospital in the Wellington area working within a dynamic team environment. A new Hospital is being built on site, due to open mid 2024

About the job
- As a Registered Nurse working in Theatre you will be scrubbing or circulating and ultimately providing safe, efficient and quality patient centred care.
- You’ll have the opportunity to work in cardiothoracic, plastic surgery, orthopaedic, women’s health, plastic surgery, complex neurosurgery & spine, gender affirmation surgery, general surgeries and many more.
- On offer is 1 FTE (however we are open to part time) working 6, 8 or 10 hour shifts
- Family friendly shifts - Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday work confirmed by arrangement.
- There are Consultants only in this hospital. No Registrars or House Surgeons means nurses have the opportunity to deal directly with the Surgeon and develop surgical assistance skills.
About you
- Strong customer focus, committed to improvement initiatives and your own professional development.
- Theatre experience is essential. Depth of experience across specialties or years of nursing is required
- We will consider nurses with offshore Theatre experience and recently completed CAP.
- Ideally you will be a generalist able to work across multiple specialties, but please talk to us if you have a preferred specialty.
