We are proud to present our latest opportunity, working on behalf of one of our favourite partners in Northland. Their private Hospital opened in the heart of Whangarei in 2001. The Hospital now boasts 5 operating Theatres with a 6th to be added in the not too distant future. Nurses are the cornerstone of the Hospital and the value they bring does not go unnoticed. As a Registered Nurse here you can gain further development in partnership with one of the most well known private facilities in Auckland.

‍‍THE ROLE‍

• Prepare theatre with medical supplies and equipment required for surgical cases
• Scrub, assist and circulate for multiple cases
• Provide comfort and care for patients throughout their theatre experience
• Create and maintain strong clinical relationships with specialists
• Provide high acuity levels of nursing to patients in an acute setting
• Work as part of a theatre team
• Pre op, perioperative and postoperative theatre support.
• Contribute to quality improvement
• Flexibility to work extra hours as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR‍

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a theatre setting, preferably within an Orthopaedic setting
• We will consider nurses with offshore experience and recently completed CAP.
• Ideally you will be a generalist able to work across multiple specialties, but please talk to us if you have a preferred specialty.
