Who is hiring?
Our client is an NZ Icon and their head office is in Invercargill with a multi-skilled IT Team spread across Christchurch and Invercargill.
The organisation is going through a major digital refresh and they are just about to embark on projects that affect every aspect of their technology platform. This includes rewriting existing application and adopting new business solutions.
They have an existing inhouse Test Team and would like to expand this team by three Test Analysts.
Roles on offer are Test Analysts and Senior Test Analysts.
The roles:
The Test Analyst is involved in end-to-end software testing across all platforms, including backend, data, mobile and web.
Senior Test Analyst is also hands on in daily testing processes as well as involved in resourcing, guiding other Testers and helping to establish a test strategy.
The Senior Test Analyst is also the key person to help establish automated testing within the organisation so a strong background in test automation, designing and developing automation frameworks is a must for this role.
For all roles we are looking for experienced Test Analysts who can work collaboratively in a team of Testers, BAs and Developers. Ideally you will come from a structured Agile environment where you are used to fast paced and interactive processes, review epics and user stories and provide feedback appropriate to the task.
You will write and execute test cases, carry out functional, integration and performance testing in a manual environment but have also had experience with test automation and would like to develop these skills further.
What you will need:
These are NOT entry level roles and we are looking for a strong background in the following:
- Sound experience as a Software Tester
- Working in Agile software development environments
- A good understanding of software engineering practices
- Writing and executing test cases
- Automated test tools
- Exposure to performance testing techniques (desirable)
In addition to the technical skills listed above and a keen interest in high quality software products and pride in your work and career progression, you will need to bring into this role excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a true Team Player!
