As Systems Engineer you will be working in a collaborative, open communication and flexible work environment with team members who are a quirky mix of international professionals.
This role can be WFH based anywhere in NZ or, for Auckland based candidates, in our client’s attractive Mt Eden based office.
What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the design and development of leading-edge complex software and hardware systems. You will also provide technical input to the architecture and design of products; manage requirements and support the architectural and system design decisions.
What you’ll bring:
- Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, computer science, information systems or other relevant technical areas.
You will also have sound experience in the following:
- Systems engineering for hardware & software products.
- Writing and producing documentation for system specifications, test procedures.
- Requirements traceability using DOORS tool
- Using model-based design methods (Sysml or UML) and associate software applications e.g. Rhapsody is desirable.
- Advanced user of PC software such as word processors, databases, flowcharts, project schedulers, and spreadsheets.
- Preparing and presenting information using a variety of media tools
- Experience using JIRA and working in Agile is desirable.
