About The Role
We are looking for an exceptional person who has excellent clinical skills within Alcohol and Drug rehabilitation and is committed to achieving positive health outcomes through supporting and growing the skills of others.
- Completing initial nursing assessments
- Managing the ongoing primary health care of clients
- Assessing and monitoring mental health
- Assessing, administering and managing medication requirements
- Specialist referral and consultation participation & review
- Provision of healthy living education & communication to clients
About You
We are looking for an experienced AOD Nurse who may have worked in or has an understanding of primary care services. You will be curious, innovative and have the capability to support the practice in its clinical needs.
- A current APC
- Experience in AOD
- Experience in primary care (ideal but not a must)
- Happy to work Monday to Friday in a central suburb of Auckland
- Deliver excellent verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail
- A passion for delivering clinical excellence to your patients
- A depth of strength and the comfortability to work autonomously
