This Tavern is a little beauty! Another charming suburban tavern, with classic weatherboard cladding and white picket fence, is very close to one of NZ's best beaches. Whether you have trecked the hills, kicked a football around, or just spent the day soaking up the sun – our Tavern is the perfect spot to unwind.

We are always on the lookout for the freshest local ingredients for our meals. Supporting local suppliers wherever possible. Whether it’s something light to snack on from our stellar sharing plates or a sit-down meal for the whole family – we pride ourselves on bringing you great food from scratch. From our house-made burgers to our IPA aioli.

We aim to accommodate everyone, we have a tasty kids’ menu and a large variety of different dishes for your dietary requirements.

What you would do:

  • Running the kitchen while the head chef has rostered days off
  • Stock control
  • Working with the head chef to develop innovative menu ideas
  • Maintain excellent restaurant standards
