Skill based requirements we are looking for:
- Technically strong, highly experienced in sheetmetal fabrication
- Competent in MIG / TIG Light gauge sheetmetal welding
- Welding 1mm-3mm Stainless / Mild Steel & Aluminium
- Reading / Fabricating / Welding from Engineering drawings
- Can use a variety of power tools / machinery (Press Brake, Guillotine, Plasma Cutter, Turret Punch etc.)
General requirements we are looking for are:
- Trade Qualified or equivalent knowledge & skills
- At least 3-5 years hands on experience
- Proven experience & expertise in press brake operation
- Willing to assist in other areas of production/assembly if required.
- Work from drawings & able to handle a range of machinery.
- Ability to share your knowledge & skills & mentor apprentices.
- Attention to detail, with a strong work ethic.
- Working to a very high standard
- Excellent time keeping & attendance.
- Follow spoken / written instructions accurately.
- Good Numeracy, verbal & written English skills.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, positive with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Medically / physically fit.
- Demonstrate & maintain good Health & Safety
- Full clean NZ Driver’s license
