This diverse role will provide software engineering thought leadership to Software Engineers at all levels. You will translate relevant high-level solution architecture elements into detailed solution designs that can be used by build teams to implement solutions, as well as ensuring individual solution architects are designed and engineered in an effective and timely manner.
Supporting the running of the Software Development team but providing governance, leadership within the community of practise, you will also be setting the goals to grow and develop their people within the development chapter and ensuring that any new methods are applied.

What are we seeking?
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- Tertiary qualification or similar qualification in technology including formal training in software engineering.
- Experience in delivery methodologies such as Agile, Iterative, Waterfall etc.
- The ability to translate Information Technology terminology into common language and concepts that may be understood by the business community at large.
- Familiarity and understanding of relevant infrastructure and cloud solutions (software, platform, and infrastructure as services).
- Data architecture and integration/API experience.
- Technical skills including Azure, AWS Cloud Platforms, C#, C++ and IoT dashboarding platforms.
- Knowledge of distributed software development techniques, such as RESTful interfaces.
- Experience developing systems that use AI and/or Machine Learning technology.
- Hands on experience integrating devices that uses modern IoT communication technologies and techniques (LoRa, Cat-M1/NB-IoT)
