About the role:
A locally owned and well operated Tier 2 construction company is now looking for a decisive construction project manager at senior level with a depth of experience across medium projects to around $40M. This contractor has extensive construction experience across all commercial building spheres. They win their work through tendering, ECI and government panels. Directors work in the business and are flexible and understanding to various employee needs.
They have a number of new projects coming up across that span education, apartments, warehousing, industrial, commercial office new builds, and major refurbishments that now require an additional PM.
Reporting to the Construction Director, this role will see you running several projects with values between $10M - $30M. You will lead a team of SM’s and Foreman and have complete responsibility for the delivery to milestones and targets.
About you:
- Minimum of 8 years experience working as a Project Manager building medium sized commercial projects between $10M - $30M
- Able to demonstrate a strong longevity record of employment with recognised names in the Auckland construction market
- Worked with leading systems such as Procore, MS Project, Aconex etc
- Any experience in pre-construction and or D&B projects will be looked upon favourably, but this is not essential
- Cab produce strong references from key stakeholders including clients, employers & subcontractors
- A trade qualification coupled with tertiary qualification in Construction will be ideal
- Solid foundation of skills across contracts, financial management of projects and sound stakeholder management skills
- Mentoring skills to support less experienced staff is essential
