About this Role:
As Senior Oracle Developer, you will establish and maintain relationships internally within the organisation and with external suppliers effectively. In this role, you will provide technical, analytical, design, and programming support for an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project; collaborating in a team to support the EDW Application.
You will be working alongside a range of departments across this organisation - teamwork is essential to this role!
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop business analytical solutions.
- Architect Business Intelligence infrastructure in Oracle and Power BI environments.
- Develop ETL maps using tools like Oracle Data Integrator.
- Implement reporting solutions using tools like Power BI.
- Lead development of data warehouse stars, reports, and dashboards based on user requirements.
- Support agile methodology within the team by assisting in testing or business analysis.
- Incidents reporting and ensuring the continuous operation of the data warehouse.
- Maintaining documentation on data warehouse processes and troubleshooting performance issues.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in application development, Oracle relational database technology, SQL & PL/SQL,
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI
- Proven understanding of Software developement lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proven/demonstrated ability to investigate, develop adn deliver high quality IT Solutions
- Proven ability to pick-up and become productive in new technology and tools
- Proven ability to develop complex solutions that combine technologies in a seamless and robust manner
