Senior iOS Developer

Our Consumer and Marketplace development team create top quality mobile experiences to keep Kiwis engaged and coming back to buy and sell with us. This role will be working on the Braze integration in our Native iOS app amongst other future projects to contribute to our App First strategy.

Here's what you can expect from this role:
* Mentor and coach junior members of the team

* Build native applications for iOS using the latest technologies to give our mobile users a world-class experience.

* Proactively lead the research and investigation to contribute new ideas that keep us at the forefront of innovation.

* Find and address challenges with our processes and practices.

* Be creative as part of a dynamic squad, developing exciting products for our customers. You'll contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from ideation and design, to user testing and more.

* As a member of the Trade Me mobile guild, you'll learn from others around the company and share your knowledge.

* Conduct and implement functional and UI automated tests based on Trade Me quality standards.

* Continually improve your delivery practices and help your squad become better

Here's what you will bring to the role:
* 5+ years experience in a similar mobile development role

* Native iOS development experience using Swift or/Objective C

* Experience with Agile software development methodologies preferred, but not required.

*  A good team player and trusted advisor, able to provide support and advice to others with a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate.

* Organised and comfortable with self-directed work; adaptable and can cope with change in a fast-moving environment.

* An eye for detail; willing to work through the little things to make our mobile experience faster, more reliable, and easier to maintain.
