About the role

Working in our Mobile Platform team, this role is key to providing top quality, modern native mobile platforms for our product development teams to build upon. Your input will be vital to the technology roadmap and you’ll define and drive forward the principles of quality, stable, and supportable software design. You’ll help us keep a focus on ensuring our apps are delivered with quality, speed and care.

* A focus on native Android development (though opportunities exist for some iOS and potentially backend development).

* Develop and maintain projects, libraries, services, tools, processes, and practices to enable our internal teams and give our mobile users world-class experiences.

What you'll bring to our team:


* A deep passion for technology and collaboration

* A Senior (5+ years) or intermediate (3+ years) level of experience in mobile software development experience

* Experience working in a team environment

* Experience developing mobile applications using modern patterns, frameworks and languages

* Ideally some experience in setting up and maintaining projects and CI/CD pipelines (Gradle, Bitrise, GitLab, TeamCity etc.)

* Ideally, experience in defining, advocating for, and applying software development best practices* Ideally, experience in supporting, mentoring, and coaching members of the team.
