The Role
- Lead civil engineering and land development projects through design, consenting, tendering, and construction
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and deliverables
- Produce and review civil engineering design including:
- 3 Waters
- Earthworks
- Roading and general infrastructure
- Provide MSQA, quality assurance, and technical verification
- Contribute to renewable energy project design where required
Leadership & Client Management
- Maintain trusted, long‑term client relationships
- Mentor junior engineers and support internal capability growth
- Liaise with planners, surveyors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Contract & Construction Management
- Lead tender preparation and contract administration
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications
- Manage contractors and resolve on‑site issues
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8–10+ years’ experience in civil engineering, land development, or infrastructure
- Strong Civil 3D capability
- Proven success delivering land development and multidisciplinary civil projects
- Excellent project management and client‑facing skills
- Strong understanding of NZ consenting processes and standards
