The Role
- Create, update, and maintain 2D/3D models and drawings in Autodesk Plant 3D
- Generate smart P&IDs, layouts, plan sheets, and pipe models in alignment with industry best practice and company standards
- Liaise with engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated delivery
- Participate in internal and external design reviews, incorporating feedback into deliverables
- Visit project sites to collect data, verify existing conditions, and inform design work
- Participate in digital initiatives including workflow improvements, automation scripts, and visualisation outputs
- Maintain accurate drawing registers, file naming, and metadata in accordance with digital protocols
- Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, templates, and quality assurance procedures
About You
- Diploma of Technology or Engineering
- Familiarity with GIS, point cloud data, and integration of survey inputs
- Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D (PIDs, equipment, piping, plant layouts) essential10 years minimum years of work experience in a similar mechanical design role within utilities or infrastructure
- Excellent leadership ability
- Willingness to learn and develop technical capabilities
