About this role:
This organisation is seeking a Security Analyst with a keen eye for detail and a passion for safeguarding information assets. As an IT Security Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring data remains secure and compliant with standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and gap analyses to pinpoint vulnerabilities and potential threats to the information security
- Managing controls, policies, risks, and compliance
- Collaborating with the broader security, external providers and IT teams to attain and uphold ISO27001 certification
- Supporting staff training and awareness initiatives on information security and risk management
- Staying abreast with the latest trends and technologies in information security and risk management
- Maintaining comprehensive system documentation and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures
About you:
- Previous 3-4 years similar information security/risk management experience
- Well versed with security frameworks
- Experience in security audits and penetration testing - desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially astute, practical and process-driven mindset
- Experience in writing policy and procedure documentation
