‍About the job‍

• Due to the upcoming retirement of long standing nurses this employer requires a new RN to join the team.
• As an RN working in this facility you are the champion for the quality of care provided to residents.
• You will be responsible for assessment, planning care, provision of care and supervising caregiving staff.
• You’ll be building connections and relationships with residents and their families
• You will report to a fantastic clinical manager with high energy and a coaching and mentoring style
• There is a rotating roster working am (7am - 3pm) pm (3pm - 11pm) & nights (11pm - 7am)
• You'll always work with one other RN on am and pm shifts

About you‍

• A Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (or awaiting post completion of CAP)
• A commitment to excellent service delivery. You’ll have initiative and be able to take ownership
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to manage your time effectively
• The ability to coach and mentor other staff
• InterRai experience desirable

What’s in it for you?‍

• $35 - $45 per hour based on experience
• $11.00 night shift allowance, $1.50 per hour over and above ordinary time rate on weekends, $7.50 split shift allowance and 1 down allowance (if on the odd occasion the team is short staffed you'll receive an extra $2 per hour)
