‍About the Job

‍As a Registered Nurse, you'll be completing assessments and patient care planning, providing care and evaluating outcomes of care for patients and their families, monitoring changes to patient conditions and behaviours, reassuring and educating families, administering medicines and assisting residents with daily activities. This is a hands-on job. You'll be coordinating, helping, supporting and educating caregivers on the floor.

‍About you  

‍A Registered Nurse with a current APC will have at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. You'll have a working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality and compliance requirements. In addition:

‍Skills and Attributes required‍

• Registered Nurse with current APC
• Some experience working in the aged residential care sector is beneficial
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• A patient and compassionate person with a holistic approach to nursing
• High energy with excellent time management
• Confident in the ability to lead and delegate
• Passionate about elderly people - this will show in your patient and family-centred approach.
• A commitment to clinical quality, safety and improvement
• A proactive critical thinker who takes ownership
