We are currently seeking a highly motivated and multi-skilled Operator to join the Refinery team onsite at our Mt Maunganui location. Working on a rostered shift pattern of four days on then four days off, you will work a combination of day and night shifts (12 hr shifts) and still enjoy a good worklife balance.
Ideally you will have previous Food Manufacturing experience however, applicants with experience in similiar, mechanically related fields are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the Refinery works to it's maximum capacity and all products are manufactured to QC1 standards.
- Operating all utilities including boilers, air and nitrogen compressors, and heaters
- Loading and unloading of bulk tankers/containers
- Decanting and drumming or various raw materials
Our Ideal candidate will:
- Have solid production and manufacturing skills i(Preferably in the Food Industry)
- Have previous knowledge or exposure of control room PLC systems
- Be a curious and level headed team player, a good problem solver
- Be able to multi-task and work unsupervised after a period of training
- Have high attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with other internal teams
