This multi-disciplinary professional building consultancy have a significant pipeline of work. They are well structured from top bottom with significant in-house technical expertise. They professionally develop their staff with regular training and development programs in place.
Some of their projects areas include large multi-story apartments, retirements villages, reinstatements and remediations, seismic, sizable fit outs and mixed use commercial.
The role is broad and you will be working across cost evaluations including estimating preliminary estimates from design, schedules of quantities, reviewing building costs through delivery, project management and contractor management, some bank funding, and assisting in any contract disputes. You would be supported by a QS Director.
As a professional QS, you have a background worked in a PQS environment, of at least 7-8 years and appropriate qualifications and membership with NZIQS/RICS. You have strong communication skills and can work with various stakeholders. You have excellent team management skills and enjoy owning a team and their performance.
