About You
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager or aspiring Senior Quality Professional with excellent communication who enjoys championing the Food Safety and Quality Culture through their profound leadership skills. You will be a natural leader, leading and developing a team of 3 and driving continuous improvement projects where required and providing support to the wider business.
You will:
- Work within production to drive quality systems and provide technical expertise/support where needed
- Oversee and maintain Quality Systems -including documentation management, conducting GS1 recalls
- Provide sound quality advice to the business and support decision making
- Work with production and customers to address any non conformances
You need:
- A tertiary qualification in Food Science/Technology or similar
- At least 5 years experience in a Quality Role within the food industry, experience with sauces is a bonus!
- Previous experience managing and implementing GMP and other food safety standards (HACCP, Woolworths Supplier Excellence, BRC)
- Superb communication skills, a positive attitude, and the personality to motivate all levels of an organisation to develop an excellent Food Safety Culture.
