About this role:
This organisation is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead its QA and Automation team in delivering secure, high-quality software solutions that serve communities across Aotearoa, New Zealand. In this role, you will ensure systems meet performance, security, and integrity standards, while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA and Automation teams to deliver robust, secure systems.
- Manage test environments and ensure smooth releases.
- Develop and implement test strategies and QA best practices.
- Coach and grow a high performing, engaged team.
- Support quality delivery across mobile, web, and service integrations
This organisation is looking for someone who brings a proactive leadership style, technical expertise in QA and testing frameworks, and a deep understanding of public-facing digital systems.
To be successful, you'll need:
- 5+ years’ experience managing QA teams in complex tech environments.
- Strong grasp of Agile, Waterfall, V-Model, and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience across mobile, web, and integration testing.
- ISTQB Foundation certification (Advanced Test Manager preferred).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
