Our client is currently seeking entry level or knowledgeable QA Officers to join an experienced team to provide internal relief while the company complete a quality based project.While only short term, this role offers valuable experience to have on your CV. This is a plant where quality is core and you will be instrumental in ensuring that day to day manufacturing standards are upkept.
In this role you will:
- Perform food safety and compliance checks
- Verify Critical Control Points that support the HACCP program
- Conduct pre-operational inspections
- Support calibration management of thermometers, scales and measuring / monitoring devices
- Assist with the management of quality documentation
- Provide ad hoc training to staff as required
To succeed in this position you need:
- A bachelors degree in science or technology (pref food / micro / bio science)
- Ideally knowledge of GMP or HACCP in manufacturing
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear communication and most importantly - a willingness to learn!
