The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team.
In this leadership-influenced clinical role, you will work with adult clients to drive positive and sustainable change in their lives, families, and wider communities.
You will:
- Conduct high-quality assessments and deliver interventions from a systemic and socio-ecological perspective
- Provide therapeutic interventions (individual and group)
- Manage your own caseload and associated clinical documentation
- Build effective working relationships with key external stakeholders
- Bring hope, expertise, and professionalism to an area of work that genuinely transforms lives
About You
To thrive in this position, you will bring:
- Full registration with the New Zealand Psychology Board
- Clinical understanding of key frameworks and practices relating to adult sexual harm
- Experience in assessment and intervention for harmful or concerning sexual behaviours and/or family violence/or forensic clinical settings
- Excellent clinical report writing, formulation, and intervention planning skills
- The ability to build strong, client-centred therapeutic relationships
- A respectful, non-judgmental approach to working with vulnerable clients
- Experience working effectively with Māori and Pasifika within clinical and cultural frameworks
