As Project Engineer you will be working in a collaborative, open communication and flexible work environment with team members who are a quirky mix of international professionals.
This is an office-based role in Mt Eden, Auckland and although there is some flexibility around work hours and WFH options, this is not a remote role and candidates need to be based in Auckland.
What you will be doing:
You will plan, direct, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects. This will include the design modification, testing and evaluation of complex systems with integrated hardware, mechanical, optical and software components and Integrated Logistics Support. This role is responsible for the technical performance, schedule and budgets of assigned projects.
What you’ll bring:
Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, computer science, information systems or other relevant technical areas.
A project management qualification such as PMP or Prince2 is advantageous for the role but not a must.
You will also have senior level experience in engineering design with at least one year experience in leading teams and managing engineering staff.
You will be familiar with project management principles and ideally have had at least one year experience in project management of technical projects.
