The Company
You’ll join a collaborative and technically strong group working across multi-disciplinary utilities projects. Your work will support communities and clients through the delivery of essential water and civil infrastructure services, contributing directly to the growth and resilience of Aotearoa’s networks.
The Role
- Provide end-to-end engineering support including investigations, setting out, temporary works, and procurement
- Coordinate construction methodologies and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Monitor and maintain construction programmes, identifying critical path activities
- Lead or support project documentation, ITPs, site diaries, and stakeholder communications
- Support junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and delivery excellence
About You
We’re seeking a proactive engineer who enjoys variety, values quality outcomes, and thrives in a fast-paced site-based environment.
You’ll ideally bring:
- A tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline
- At least 5 years' experience delivering capital works or infrastructure projects
- Experience in construction methodologies, pipelaying, QA, commissioning, and temporary works
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to technical challenges on site
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
