We’re working with a New Zealand-founded aerial robotics company, known globally for their advanced UAV systems used across agriculture, research, and industrial sectors. With big plans for the future and a growing pipeline of work, they're looking for someone to take ownership of the more technical side of UAV assembly.
The Role
You'll play a key role in ensuring every aircraft leaving the facility meets strict performance standards, and you'll be the go-to person when the team hits technical snags.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assemble UAVs, including detailed mechanical and electrical integration
- Help improve and document technical processes and assembly procedures
- Program and configure flight controllers and onboard electronics
About You
You’ll bring a solid technical background and a detail-focused mindset, along with:
- 3+ years’ experience in electronics assembly or technical manufacturing (UAV is a bonus)
- Good understanding of electronic systems, wiring, and embedded hardware
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a knack for solving problems hands-on
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
