Production Engineer

THE ROLE:
This role offers the right candidate a chance to make a difference to the day to day operation and really raise the bar in terms of best practice manufacturing, requiring you to rapidly find workable and sustainable solutions to problems and operational efficiency.

With exposure to process improvement, product development, and capital projects, you will bring leadership and project management experience, providing technical support to colleagues.

REQUIRED:

• Tertiary qualification
• Recent graduates with a strong interest in manufacturing will also be considered;
• Interested in and can understand machinery and production processes is looked at favourably;
• Ability to identify, plan and execute project action steps, and ability to deal with unforeseen issues and breakdowns;
• A natural problem solver, inquisitive, with a continuous improvement mind-set and logical troubleshooting skills. You enjoy taking responsibility and thinking on your feet;
• Project management experience;
• Experience in an automated manufacturing site / FMCG experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with an ability to keep your cool when under pressure;
• Although not a leadership role, you are a natural leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting others.
