Product Designer - Senior

The Role

• Develop a deep understanding of the problem space.
• Establish positive working relationships with product managers, data analysts, the engineering team and other stakeholders to develop the best solution while applying design thinking to your process and taking others on the journey.
• Take complete ownership of projects, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions that align with our business goals and user needs.
• Measure the impact of design output on our customers and connect that impact to strategic objectives.
• Ideate, prototype and tell an engaging story about what the future may look like.
• Produce usable and elegant solutions while keeping accessibility, platform design patterns, and best practices top of mind.
• Ensure work is thoroughly documented, creating essential artefacts that can be seamlessly continued by another designer.
• Work with more junior designers, providing considered and compassionate advice and feedback.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in similar design roles, ideally within an internal team however an agency background would be considered.
• Sketch or Figma, prototyping software.
• A portfolio demonstrating projects from end to end.
• A solid understanding of Material Design guidelines for Android and Human Interface Guidelines for iOS.
• Knowledgeable in best practices & hands-on experience in user testing and user research.
• Mentoring experience advantageous.
• A keen learner who also shares learnings and helps others to level up
• Curious and self-driven
• A strong communicator - you will be able to explain ideas simply & clearly, be an active listener, and proactively improve team communication.
• Empathetic - objective, open to a diversity of thought, strives to understand our users.
• Organised - able to manage your time well and deliver on commitments
