About this role:
This organisation is looking for a Principal Developer to work in a tech leadership role. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data integration solutions, from identifying integration requirements to architecting, developing, and refining reliable data solutions. You’ll help ensure the smooth flow of information across critical business systems and drive the continuous improvement of integration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution of a scalable, event and batch-driven integration environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, secure data pipelines for enterprise-wide use.
- Work collaboratively with technical and business teams to identify integration needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimise data processes.
- Champion best practices in software development, data security, and system governance.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends to continuously enhance integration architecture and tools.
About You:
You bring significant expertise in software development and technical leadership, ideally with solid experience in software development, including several years' experience as a technical lead. You will be well-versed in building both event-driven and batch-oriented integration solutions, alongside strong technical skills across SQL, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
Your background includes developing integration systems across diverse environments, spanning both on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
